FANTASTIC NEWS!!! The talented filmmaker Sally Richards and I are doing happy dances!!! We have just found out our short art film Sumaglla made when we were in Ecuador has beaten away the opposition (at least 700 were rejected) and won a place at Byron Bay International Film Festival in Australia!!! It will be premiering there as follows:

In a drop in and out gallery setting each year BBFF presents a quirky collection of experimental films from all around the world. Stay for 5 minutes or sit back and allow yourself to drift to into the sub-consciousness of 20 cinematic artists asking you to share their strange new worlds. These films will be screened for free upstairs in the SCU Room from 1 – 4pm on Thursday March 6th. The films screened include: Sumaglla…..

Big thank yous also go out to Dr Gianluca Fantoni a film historian who was kind enough to review the film!!! 😀
